George DuCasse

George DuCasse has worked in Institutional Financial Services for over 25 years, and is currently a Senior Vice President with Ascensus Government Savings. George manages Ascensus’ relationship with the State of California in support of CalSavers, which is a program designed to provide a workplace savings option for Californians whose employers currently don’t offer one. His career began at an early age when he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps.

George has been associated with Team Heart for eight years, where he has helped in different capacities. George was able to join his first medical mission trip to Rwanda in February 2019.

George is an avid boater and enjoys volunteering with Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity in Boston. He has received a BA from Bridgewater State University and an MBA from Suffolk University, where he graduated Cum Laude. George holds a FINRA Series 7 General Securities License.

After I returned from Rwanda, each time I passed my to do list, my pencil hovered to cross off Rwanda–I could not do it. Rwanda was not finished.

I am thankful to Team Heart for saving my life and allow me to return to my studies energetically and it does me proud to be studying public health
